PRIVACY NOTICE
Student information belongs in the secure portal.
This notice explains the information used by the results portal and the safeguards built into the service.
Information used
The portal stores student identity details, matriculation numbers, programmes, levels, course enrolments, scores, grades and optional passport photographs. Staff account details and administrator-issued student login cards are also used for secure access.
Why it is used
Information is used to authenticate users, manage courses, publish verified results, calculate GPA and CGPA, and produce course forms and transcripts.
Who can access it
Students can access their own published academic records. Lecturers can work with courses assigned to them. Administrators manage academic records and account access according to their responsibilities.
Protection and corrections
Private portal pages are excluded from search engines, and passport photographs are delivered only to the signed-in student. Students should contact the Polytechnic when a personal or academic record needs correction.
Responsible use
Users should keep passwords and login cards private, sign out on shared devices and report suspected unauthorised access to the Polytechnic immediately.
